| -*MANIFESTO*- MORENANTISM The “Movement for the National Renaissance” MORENA of Haiti, is a true expression of the social, political and historical reality of that country. With a revolutionary yet democratic orientation it aims to resolve the problems that continue to handicap Haitian society. Being concerned with improving the quality of life for all Haitians and supporting their needs and intellectual aspirations, we have developed a triptych of political activism targeting issues pertaining to God, Country and Liberty: 1. GOD: Love. Justice 2. COUNTRY: Economic & social progress 3. LIBERTY: Democracy We seek to ameliorate the quality of life for all Haitians and support their needs and intellectual aspirations. The “MORENA” will be active on social and political grounds helping to shape opportunities for the collective well-being of every single Haitian. We will have as our goal to educate while building the prestige of Haitian people. No rancor will come before our decisions. We will stand above the swamps of false propaganda. To achieve this objective, we will combine our resolve with a spirit of openness, inculcating within our fellow citizens the reasons of our social, political and economic philosophy. We will raise concern for the welfare of our society by promoting the standard of our ideals and delivering a synthesis of political reality and moral rectitude. We strongly believe that sooner or later, against any forces of inertia, our philosophy will thrive and bring the country to express a new formula of social consciousness. |
| -* ORGANIC LAW OF THE MOVEMENT*- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Convention of People’s Rights establishes the principles of non- discrimination and equality for all. Our Constitutional Charter recognizes the rights of every human being to a full and complete exercise of his rights and civic duties in freedom and respect for each other. Therefore, we approve these principles and condemn those that are contrary: May 3rd. will be proclaimed: “NATIONAL RENAISSANCE DAY” . Our sacrosanct goal is to fight immorality. We will: • 1)- Encourage every Haitian to adopt a respectful attitude of honesty and dignity in the administration of the internal and external affairs of the country. • 2)- Adopt all necessary measures to fight the flippancy of the uncaring, promote a social order based upon an equitable and rational human relationships, and encourage interracial and intercultural harmony between all Haitians. • a-) The movement is based on the absolute equality of all its adherents. All members have the same rights. • b-) A two- thirds majority must approve all decisions. Before negotiations, delegates must have a procuration signed by three members of the administrative committee, and two members of the designated cartel. 3)- “MORENA” recognizes the importance of multiple parties within the Haitian society. In order to reach this Promised Land… the jewel, that we all dream of, we aim to guide the social forces of the country to a fruitful realization of equity. |

Our faith is based on a true veneration of GOD, and his wonderful law of love that harmonized the rapport between men of all classes. “ WE WHO HAVE A STRONG FAITH OF GOD, WE MUST HELP THE WEAK TO BEAR THEIR WEAKNESS.” _Romans-15:1. COUNTRY…The motherland remains for us a valuable possession and a sacred duty. We should invest all our energy, knowledge, and lucidity so that we may converge with that which we identify. We must faithfully reconstruct this piece of land bequeathed by our forefathers and remain opposed to all destructive and reactionary forces. LIBERTY... Liberty equals democracy.
